New EPL season predictions

I have been satisfying my euro soccer cravings by checking transfer updates, playing fifa, and getting ready for Galaxy-Barca. I would like to get some opinions from Atlanta soccer nutz about EPL predictions. I have seen some threads about big name transfers and man city...which pretty much go hand in hand these days. I am going by current rosters, IMO the only transfers that may go down before here and August 15th that would have a severe inpact would be if city get some defense, lescott and terry in particular, but for now here is how I see it playing out...let me know what you think.
1-Chelsea-Drogba is fit, Essien is fit, Lampard is steady, Terry will be back, Mikel is more mature, Ballack is a good sub, ACole and Bosingwa are deadly coming from the back, Peter Cech is playing better and their bench is strong...did i mention Anchellotti???
2-ManU-They will be strong but will not be able to match Chelsea's hunger and ferocity. They will also miss Ronaldo and Tevez. They will beat out Liverpool because of a superior bench. They will certainly beat out Liverpool's fragile starters and Subs. Their defense will get them to second place.
they are getting old in the midfield
3-Poor Liverpool....very fragile. We saw what happened to them when Torres went down. Liverpool IF they hold onto xabi AND masch they take it, especially if they add A. Young, for the first time in a long time it seems as though it could be players leaving the top 4 rather than coming in that is going to determine things, All Liverpool is done is managed to turn away Real and secure their D by adding Johnson.
4- Man City-too many strikers will disrupt harmony but they should beat Arsenal...Toure will help the D and Ireland will continue to drive the motor
5-Good bye Arsenal...maybe Arshavin and Fiberglass is pull them up I doubt it. Good luck in The Europa cup

What do you think?

  2. Quique, I'm calling you out on your flat-out, steamy lump of B.S. You are NOT going to watch Galaxy-Barsa.
Not only do not care about this game but you would go out of your way and watch some independent film of the same quality just to show your indifference.
If I'm wrong, I'll expect a brilliant blog post on ASN with deep analysis on the game.
