World Cup fundraising to support soccer at Atlanta Public Schools

Diesel Filling Station, located in the Virginia Highland neighborhood of Atlanta, will be very active this summer during the World Cup in support of Soccer in the Streets.  For the entire time period of the tournament (June 12-July 13), Diesel will donate $1 from every Bud Light sold.  All US national team matches, along with other selected matches, will include raffles with great prizes including authentic US national team jerseys, gift certificates, and World Cup related items.

"It's a privilege to partner with a perfect local charity for another World Cup," said Diesel's owner Justin Haynie.  "We have high goals for our team on the field and our contribution to the community."

The goal is to raise $5,000 to support Soccer in the Streets' programming in Atlanta Public Schools.  This will increase the number of off season visits and enrichment activities offered to the nearly 500 participants in the middle school program.
