Good Bye Lenny Luckett

The Atlanta Soccer Community mourns the loss of Lenny Luckett earlier this week. Lenny was a big part of the ADASL and managed several legendary teams including Aunt Charley's Shooters and Anheuser Busch.
Lenny was a respected attorney, played for the University of Georgia and was know to many a positive character. Lenny was a staple of the Atlanta Soccer Community and ADASL. He went on be be an active member of our referee association and never stopped giving to our community

Services were Friday 1/29 at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.

Many of his old friends attender, including Ted Fourlezos.

"It was a nice turnout for Lenny Luckett. In late Dec 1979 Lenny calls me up and says let's go to New Orleans for the UGA game national championship. Of course I said yes and we jumped in his 1971 Green Pinto bought a $30 8 track and scored one tape Leonard Skynyrd second helping we made it all the way to New Orleans with no tickets scalped a couple, then traded them with cash and sat 20 row lower level. But in the Notre Dame side. We rushed the field and rest is history. RIP Lenny my only regret is I never went to law school like u wanted so we could have been Luckett and Fouriezos. But in life we were!"

RIP Lenny Luckett
