Atlanta Soccer News: Art, Music and Culture: "Scotland" named Cobb Adult Soccer O30 Seven a Side Champions

The CASL Seven a Side World Cup Summer League O30 division was won by Scotland as they went undefeated in all of their games.

The team was comprised largely of Express Locomotive players and had GA Soccer board member and CASL committee member Glenn Garrison.

"This was a great summer season experience from playing with so many skilled players and playing in such a great environment. CASL and Georgia Soccer work really hard to get the quality of officials and fields right that make seven aside so much fun in the summer. I'm looking forward to defending our unofficial title next summer." - Glenn Garrison.

Karon Byer the President of CASL and Georgia Soccer board member was quoted as saying “I can't remember the last time the weather co operated so well to create great field and playing conditions for this summer league. This was the largest and most competitive participation we've had in the over 30 age group. Clearly Scotland are deserving of their title. Thanks to all the clubs in this division. Especially CASL clubs Express (3 teams), Rovers, Ohana, Witchdoctors and the others for entering teams."

Cobb Adult Soccer League or CASL is an Adult Soccer League devoted to promoting the principals of fair play and good health in Cobb County by promoting and organizing adult soccer leagues for men, women and co-ed leagues.
