Black Tie players raise over $53,000!
The players of the Black Tie Soccer Game were extremely successful in their support of Soccer in the Streets, raising over $53,000 during the event.  The game itself took place at Atlanta's Grady Stadium on Sunday, October 7th.
The White Team led the way this year, winning both the fundraising race ahead of the game and the soccer tournament.  Bert Weiss of Q100's Bert Show nearly led his squad to victory, falling in the championship game on penalty kicks.  The Red Team's win in their first match was Bert's first ever victory on a soccer field, we look forward to seeing him back in action next year.
Pictures can be found on our Facebook page.  Donations are still being accepted at the Black Tie Soccer Game website.
Thank you to everyone who partcipated in the event, as a player or spectator!  Your support is vital to continued programming that prepares Atlanta's kids for success in life.
