World Footie Net is a portal to the beautiful game of football and involving discussion of games, players, fashion, music and culture. WFN does not limit it's scope of coverage of the game and looks to engage the sport at every level.

We at WFN are supporters of the game from a variety of backgrounds. We have former professional players, league and team officials and supporters of various clubs from around the world. Our approach to the game is unique on the web as we banter on about what's happening all around the globe when it concerns the game but from a supporters view point, not as a stiff sports journalist. We are very biased and opinionated and that's the whole point of our approach to talking about soccer. We hope you enjoy and join us!

This week, we include some of the Stories Of The Week at WFN. As stated above, our goal is not to be another version of a "national soccer news source" but to look for compelling stories in the game from the grass roots level all the way to the top levels around the world.
