Clayton State men's soccer wins Atlanta Metro Cup
Morrow, GA – The Clayton State men's soccer team finished up its spring season over the weekend in style winning the 2nd Annual Atlanta Metro Cup.
The Atlanta Metro Cup is a one-day men's soccer spring tournament featuring collegiate teams in the Atlanta area. The tournament is a round robin set-up with all the teams facing each other in mini-games.
Along with Clayton State, other metro-Atlanta teams competing in the event were: Southern Poly, Oglethorpe, Georgia State, Emory and Georgia Gwinnett. The Lakers went 5-0 during the event to win the Cup.
Clayton State hosted the tournament at Tara Stadium in Jonesboro, GA.
