Atlanta Silverbacks No. 1 in North America
Atlanta's professional soccer team is No. 1 in the North American League. Saturday game in Gwinnett County against FC Edmonton.
The Atlanta Silverbacks remain in first place in the North American Soccer League (NASL), as they head into a double-header Saturday.
Over the wekend, the Tampa Bay Rowdies failed to win against FC Edmonton. If they had, they would have taken over the top spot, according to the NASL.
Four clubs now sit within a win of claiming the No. 1 spot. Those teams sit a three wins, while the Atlanta Siliverbacks have four wins, according to the NASL.
So, the upcoming games are crucial.
The Atlanta Silverbacks will play a double-header June 8. The woman play at 4:30 p.m., and the men play -- against FC Edmonton -- at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $14 or more.
