Expo to Take Place in Atlanta This Weekend The annual Southeast Soccer Expo, which is presented by Georgia Soccer and Global Sports Solutions, will be held in Atlanta at the Cobb Galleria Center on January 27 and 28. Atlanta Silverbacks Head Coach Alex Pineda Chacón will make an appearance at the Expo, and the Silverbacks organization will have a presence throughout the Expo, as will dozens of soccer companies from the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia.   In coordination with Georgia Soccer’s annual general meeting, the Expo will give fans, coaches, players, and professionals within the soccer industry the opportunity to learn more about the latest soccer products and programs. Many of the vendors at the event will have interactive displays allowing attendees not just to buy products, but to try them out as well.   The Southeast Soccer Expo will also feature a street ball trick competition, presented by Marca Personal, at which the winner will earn a $1,000 promotional contract, as well as a coaching lecture from former English soccer manager Simon Davey. Davey famously led Barnsley FC over Liverpool FC to take his team to the semi-finals of the FA Cup in England.   General admission to the event is free to all members of Georgia Soccer.
