What’s Happening In June?? 2015 Summer League News

Artificial Turf?? NO RAIN OUTS!You bet, if you drive by Hubert Park you will see that Cobb Parks & Rec are installing four (4) full sized turfed fields that will be ready by August 2015.
And maybe one more? If the weather & money hold out this summer, the county has Terrell Mill park as the next field. 2016 will see three more at Mud Creek in summer 2016
What about the status of the League Champions Tournament?Saturday June 6th kicks off our 2nd stage of the Tournament with four teams fighting for two wild card slots.
Sunday is Round #1 with 16 teams competing. The ten (10) group winners from our 3 game Charity events, the 1st place teams in each division and the two Wild Cards.
All Tournament games will play at 5/7pm Tramore Park – So pick your favorite and come out to cheer them on. Following round will play 06/13 & 06/14 with our Final Game on Sunday June 21st
What about the Georgia State Inaugural All Star Games we have been hearing about?That’s June 6th also. Our own Running Eagles (Open Comp) will face off against ADASL at 2pm. There will be teams from every league in Georgia playing all day and the last game? 6pm Women’s World Cup – played on large screens. Lake Point Sports Complex – north on I75 0 exit 283. Signs will be everywhere!
But I want to play, what going on for me?
2015 summer 7v7 starts June 21st so get registered now. Team fees of $500 - unlimited rosters, Sundays at East Cobb YMCA
OR Thursday night 5v5 indoor. $350 per team starts June 18th
