Great Story: FC Georgia United presented the John Hope Center ‘Soccer In The Streets’ program with 38 pairs of new soccer cleats

“CLEATS IN THE STREET”

FC Georgia United presented the John Hope Center ‘Soccer In The Streets’ program with 38 pairs of new soccer cleats for their start-up program.

The children were extremely excited to receive their new boots – as chaos erupted when they were shown their surprises in the boxes.

Soccer In The Streets “reaches out to teens who are on the margins of society – racial and ethnic minorities, immigrants and refugees - attending low-performing public schools, from low-income and broken homes, in high-crime areas, with high unemployment, (communities without many job prospects except low paying service jobs) facing “healthy food deserts” and experiencing minimal quality of life”.
