The Ponte Vedra Storm U11 girls soccer team won the Publix Atlanta Cup on Sept. 3.
The Ponte Vedra Storm U11 girls soccer team won the Publix Atlanta Cup on Sept. 3. PV Storm U11 has won this tournament two consecutive seasons.

Across the bottom from left is, Avery Patterson, Mary Beth Whitlock, Lillian Mace, Julie Arciprete, Delaney Tauzel and Kai Hayes. In other action, the Ponte Vedra Storm U13 girls soccer team finished second in the same tournament, losing in the finals to the Sunrise Sting of Miami.

Ponte Vedra is basically right next to Jacksonville Beach — so much so that in walking down the beach you will walk from one to the other — as well as Atlantic and Neptune Beach.
