SPARTANBURG, SC – Wofford women’s soccer team would like to thank the U-13 Atlanta Fire United Gold-West and Silver-West youth soccer teams for participating in the Terrier Youth Soccer “Kids Kickoff” Program. On August 24, 30 girls participated in pre-game player introductions, served as ball girls and competed in a halftime skills competition.
Special thanks to former Terrier women’s soccer player Kara Bennewitz for bringing her youth teams to participate. Bennewitz started in 58 games as a Terrier and saw playing time as both a defender and forward.
