With London burning and the Spurs cancelling their first game of the ELP season, local pop icon Alan Vaughn calls for calm in the streets of London. "I think it is an absolute tragedy. Our people need to come together and stop the senseless violence. The images we are seeing here and the stories coming out of Tottenham  are a horror. Tottenham, our prayers are with you" explains Alan Vaughn. Alan will be performing a special show dedicated to the people of Tottenham Aug 13 at the Rose and Crown located at  1931 Powers Ferry Trce SE, Marietta, GA 30067.

"We hope to bring awareness to our community in Atlanta about the tragedy unfolding in London. These are scary times, and we need to be aware." continues Vaughn.

Alan is famous in Atlanta for his brand of Brit Pop made famous in the 60s and 70s." Ah, the flavour and feel of the times…it was remarkable, and never will be repeated, for we as a society and world have moved on past a single pop radio station everyone listens to and the innocent joy of bopping to clever tunes."

"All you need is love...."
